West Midlands Arts Health & Wellbeing would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to nominate a project for the awards. For the second year running the awards scheme recognise artists, organisations and groups delivering exceptional arts and health projects in the West Midlands. Judges for the West Midlands Arts and Health Awards 2012 now announced...

Clive Parkinson is the Director of Arts for Health at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has previously been Development Director of Arts for Health Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, a Health Promotion Specialist for Morecambe Bay PCT and Voluntary Sector manager supporting people affected by schizophrenia. He began his career as an artist working in a hospital for people with learning disabilities. Over 2012 he is working with an NHS provider, to develop radical and innovative approaches to dementia services. Jenny Peevers
(Relationship Manager, Regional Planning Arts Council England) has worked in the arts for the last 16 years following a degree in Fine Art and MA in Photography. Previous work includes the role of Arts Development Officer at Solihull MBC and Public Art Officer for Arts Council, West Midlands. Jenny then studied urban design before working for Bryant Priest Newman Architects as an Urban Designer/Arts consultant where she involved artists in the process of masterplanning. She later became a freelance consultant working on urban design/community development projects. Jenny returned to Arts Council, West Midlands in July 2010, appointed as the Relationship Manager for Regional Planning.
