Artist Champion for Therapeutic Practices in Arts & Health

Our Artist Champion Jane Sutcliffe will focus on the work of practitioners working in arts and health in a therapeutic context across the whole of the West Midlands region, commencing in December 2013.

Through an online, virtual debate and a special one-day conference Arts in Health, Arts Therapies & Therapeutic Practice - Mapping the Fields on 26 March 2014 at the CBSO Centre in Birmingham, Jane will be exploring what quality means in a therapeutic context. Taking the Quality Statements as a starting point, the conversations Jane initiates will be aimed at arts and health artists who feel the primary aim of their work is therapeutic, exploring the relationship between arts and health and arts therapies.

To contribute to this conversation and stay up to date with the Arts and Health Quality and Framework, follow us on facebook and twitter.
